THE BRIEF:
Create a series of posters showcasing the Australian
Air Force’s range of aircraft, aimed at engaging a younger target audience, to be handed out at schools, fairs and
trade shows across Australia.
THE APPROACH:
We wanted to create posters worthy of taking pride of place on classroom and bedroom walls.
Inspired by graphic novels, each poster made use of dynamic illustration and typography to create an exciting set.
Every detail was carefully considered and crafted, from the angle of the aircraft, to the Air Force camouflage used in the sky backdrops.
In addition, we presented interesting, but fun facts about
each aircraft. Who knew that the E-7A Wedgetail is the length of three Tyrannosaurus Rex?
